12 things for Christmas Appeal
Currently the Events and Fundraising Committee (EFC) is running a ’12 things for Christmas’ appeal until 1st December. The EFC has chosen two out of the Myanmar refugee centers that we currently work with to benefit from this project. The children in these schools, from the Dai and Zomi tribe located in Cheras, are in particularly great need, surviving on only RM1 per child, per day, for their daily meal. more details...
Annual Christmas Carols evening
The EFC will be holding a Christmas Bazaar on the 13th December! There are a lot of fun activities planned for the evening including the carols, Christmas themed stalls, Bake Sale, mini Spa treatments from The London Orchid, Christmas Story-telling time and even a Santa’s Grotto where the children will have the chance to have their photo taken with Santa!
So please come along and enjoy a fun-filled evening while helping the EFC support their chosen charities. Stalls open from 5pm – we look forward to seeing you all there!

EFC Visit to Dai Learning Centre
Recently some of the EFC members visited the Dai Learning Centre to deliver the second hand books that were collected as part of the BSKL Book Week. During the visit the EFC also delivered some other items including a custom made cupboard for their kitchen, table top for cooking and some tables for the classroom. more details...
Official Opening of Primary Campus

UN Day or International Day was celebrated in great style with a beautiful sight of colourful national costumes and classrooms turned into countries. All children came to school in their national costumes. Primary Instrumental Programme
Primary Instrumental Programme (PIP) has been a fabulous explosion of excitement and fun from the moment the instruments landed and came out of their cases. Every child from Year 1 to 7 is learning a musical instrument. Our very first Eid Assembly was a great success with spectacular performance of a short play performed by our students. In the play, there were great performances of kompang, traditional Malay percussion and silat, traditional Malay martial arts. The play ended with a graceful traditional Malay dance. more details...
BSKL – Tottenham Football Development Program
The British International School students attended their first training session with Tottenham Football Development on Sep 17 at KBU Football Field. On a bright Saturday morning, our enthusiastic young footballers were introduced to a variety of skills by Coach Sheldon and Coach Anthony. After a thorough workout of dribbling, passing, heading and shooting; students played 5 aside matches to end the session.
