Governance

The British School is an independent, British-run organisation established to provide high value education to the expatriate community of Kuala Lumpur and surrounding areas.

The school has been established in response to demand from the local international community for quality British education. Its principal aim is the provision of education of the standard found in top independent schools in the UK.

The school is governed by the Board of Directors of The British Schools Group (See Our Group Section) that delegates powers for the day to day running of the school to the Headmaster.

The British International School, Kuala Lumpur is registered with the Qualification and Curriculum Authority in the UK.
