Admission to the British School is selective. We are committed to ensuring that our pupils have access to the highest standards in education, and that also implies learning from other pupils as well as the classroom teacher. We interview all students to get a complete picture beyond just their academic level. Skills in English and maths are evaluated for all applicants from Year 1 (age 6) upwards. We expect all students to contribute to school life outside of the classroom: sports, drama and music being areas at which the school excels. 

Also, in keeping with the school’s policy of diversity, a limit may be placed per year group on the number of pupils of the same nationality.

For Pre-Nursery and Nursery students we expect all of them to be toilet trained and taking solid foods.
