 The first inter-house football tournament was on November 26 with matches played in a round robin format.
Our referees for the afternoon were Mr. Kirkham, Mr. Johnson, Mark and Liam (Football ASA). Parents turned up in full force armed with cameras and camcorders. Some mothers were equipped with poms-poms and were seen cheering frantically for their children. |
 Romans emerged victorious in Year 1 with a convincing win in all 3 matches that they played. In the other division, Normans and Vikings both tied with 7 points each. Mr. Honey-Jones revealed the winner as Normans with an extra goal scored advantage over Vikings. Captains proudly came up to receive their trophies and cheers from their fellow classmates. |
