The scholarship programme accepts a new scholar every year and covers the costs of their schooling through to the end of secondary school. Scholars are selected by the High Commissioner. Full scholarships include all fees, materials, uniforms and lunches. Each scholarship is worth more than RM600,000. This scholarship is open to: * Malaysian nationals * Who are 10 years of age between September 1st, 2009 and September 1st, 2010, with * Proficiency in English. The scholarship is awarded to a student from a low income family who could not normally afford to attend the school but who shows the potential for academic excellence. (ii) Your school records. (iii) The names and phone numbers of head teacher and a personal referee. (iv) Evidence of family income including contact information for employers. Applications close on March 30th, 2010. The Exam: Following receipt of applications, selected applicants will be invited to school for an examination. The Interview: Following the exam, a select few short listed candidates will be interviewed by the British High Commissioner and the Headmaster of the British School. |
