Book week was a resounding success with the classrooms being transformed in the surroundings of a book or author. Our teachers imaginatively created activities from across the curriculum and we were visited by author and story teller, John Row who gave workshops and presentations to the children on creatively making their own stories, from ideas, short notes to the finished article.

John shared his most recent book with the children ‘Out of the hat’ and signed copies for prosperity. Friday, the school became a flash of colour when all children and teachers dressed as their favourite character so we had many pirates, witches, fairies, Snow Whites’ and even Fred Flintstone turned. Our final assembly was attended by a packed audience of parents and well done to all the children and teachers their fantastic efforts.
