The Chinese New Year Assembly kicked off perfectly with the emcee - Nairne who spoke in Chinese. The story was about the monster called Nian. The show had laughs, joy, fear, solidarity and in the end a happy ever after.

The most anticipated Two Little Money Gods won loud applause from the audience. Both the traditional Chinese dance and the short play as well as the Lion Dance were fabulous with such a short period of practice.

Everyone had a great time. The celebration was a great success not only by the response of the parents but also the smiles on the faces of the children.
