Book Week at the British International School was a great success. We were privileged to have Mr. Wes Magee, a well-known children’s poet, to share his work in workshops for Year 1 to Year 7 students. Students gave their full attention during the workshops and participated actively.

There was a poetry session for Reception students and they have enjoyed the session very much. Throughout Book Week, the EFC ran second hand book donation campaign to help newly formed Dai Learning Centre to start up their library. 

Many bags of books have been put in the designated collection points. Book Week would not be complete and fun without dress up day. Students came to school in various different characters; Harry Potters, pirates, princesses, fairies to name a few popular characters amongst students. It was a wonderful sight! Thank you to all parents for supporting our Book Week. Without your continuous support; it would not be a huge success.
