A beautiful rangoli was displayed at the reception to welcome all students and parents of BSKL and to usher good luck in conjunction with Deepavali celebration. All classrooms were attractive and colourful with lovely Deepavali decorations. Students, staff and parents were dressed in traditional Indian costumes. Deepavali celebration would not be complete without a special assembly showcasing talents of our students.

The assembly kicked off with classical music recital. The sweet voice of Preetha Prasad and our students together with the sound of sitar and percussion were truly mesmerizing. Thereafter, there was a fashion show of different costumes from various regions of India. It was a great parade of colourful and lovely costumes!

To add excitement into the programme, an energetic Bollywood dance was performed by middle school students. It was a great performance and demonstrated great talents of the students. We wish to thank all parents who have organised Deepavali celebration and assembly for making it a memorable and successful day. Your continuous kind support is much appreciated. Happy Deepavali!
