UN Day 2011UN Day or International Day was celebrated in great style with a beautiful sight of colourful national costumes and classrooms turned into countries. All children came to school in their national costumes. The day started off with a spectacular assembly with lined up of exciting performances of a traditional Malay dance, Irish dance, Brazilian Capoeira performance, Korean dance (Sa Mul Nori) and Korean drum performance (Kkoktugakshi Nori). |
![]() Students, teachers and parent alike enjoyed these performances. Besides performances, all students took part in singing ‘Heal the World’ at the beginning of the assembly and a famous Malay song, Rasa Sayang<, at the end the assembly. Thereafter, students set off for their amazing travel but they must remember to bring along their passports, otherwise immigration officer of each country would not let them in! It was memorable, fun and great cultural experience for all. |
![]() A very big thank you to all parents and staff who have involved directly and indirectly in making our UN day a great success. |
