Key Stage 1The much anticipated Key Stage 1 Inter House Football Tournament was held recently. The event took place on the Futsal court at the new BSKL school campus. Year 1 and 2 were split into their houses and played 12 games of six minutes, stopping at half time to use substitutes. The children enjoyed the challenge and every game was competitive and exciting with goals flying in from all over the pitch. In fact a staggering 58 goals were scored over the course of all the matches and some of the children’s celebrations were the highlight of the event. There could, however, only be one winner and it was the Vikings who just managed to win both year group competitions. The trophy was awarded by Ms Tame and everyone was congratulated on a great event. |

All teachers, assistants and even the swimming coaches were present also in their house colours to coach, officiate, score encourage and further organise the students. The first round of games kicked off at 8.30 am and the schedule for boys and girls competitions ran on time and finished at around 11am. |
