It was a great day for all of us at the British International School. We were delighted to have the British High Commissioner and his wife together with the Board members of the British Schools Group and not forgetting our parents to join us to celebrate the official opening of our primary campus.

Students dressed smartly in their uniform seated patiently to enjoy the programme of the day. The event kicked off with a welcome note and opening speech by Mr. Gilbard Honey-Jones. Thereafter, our students performed a mixed dance of ballet and modern dance routine choreographed by Ms. Sabrina Saw. 

This followed by a speech by H.E. Mr. Simon Featherstone, CMG. String, Wind and Percussion ensemble mesmerized the audience with their lovely performance. The middle school choir sang two numbers with great passion and  after a speech by Mr. Stewart Fry, Director of the British Schools Group.   

The highlight of the programme was the unveiling and signing of the plaque by the British High Commissioner. It was indeed a memorable day for all.
